Maximus Henley on Todd Boat Regatta 2025
Another fantastic Henley on Todd Boat Regatta was held in the dry Todd Riverbed in Alice Springs.
The event is dynamic and full of activites and we were proud to be a part of all the mayhem again in 2025. We planned, managed, coordinated every aspect of the event including developing operational, risk and emergency plans, getting all of the necessary cultural, government and council approvals, bringing in all equipment and machinery to the virgin site, overseeing the workforce of 25 people and 19 volunteers, creating the merchandise and all of the new boat signage, and locking in 30 sponsors!
The result was a full program that included a parade, kids activities, mini yacht boat races, maxi yacht boat races, build your own boat race, sand shovelling competitions, tug 'o war, giant human hamster wheels, sand ski races, king and queen of the river challenges, a budgy smuggler race and the Battle Boat finale. Whew!
